Sisters Daniella and Maddelena Ponter, together with their father Mark, bring a personal and elegant touch to the African tourism industry. Daniella is our safari specialist, with many years of experience in the bespoke luxury safari tour industry. She lives in Zimbabwe and is passionate about sharing her love of the continent. Her industry experience includes senior positions in management, marketing and sales with world-renowned operators such as Wilderness Safaris. Working for these highly regarded operators gave her the insights and skills crucial to crafting exclusive safari vacations. Daniella has the worldwide experience and local knowledge essential for advising on and planning luxury safaris in Africa.
Responsible for general operations, Maddelena works closely with her older sister to ensure that all Sikeleli clients enjoy the very best that Africa has to offer. Like Daniella, Maddelena was born and brought up in Zimbabwe. Her specialties include branding, marketing and online strategies, such as with our friends at Safari Bookings! Environment and sustainability consultant Grace Carsky assists with formulated strategies for adhering to the sustainable business practices and local conservation principles by which we proudly operate.
