Container Hire Company was founded in 1968 as a general engineering company, manufacturing hydraulic equipment for the agricultural industry, diversifying to the road transport, construction and shipping areas. Our division also repairs and maintains shipping containers for the major shipping and leasing companies who visited Port Lyttelton.
