unplanned travel and emergency.
Things to be noted before applying for Emergency e-Visa to India
• In some urgency like medical and death cases, you will asked to provide a copy of
letters/documents from the hospital to prove death or illness by the authorities. In case, if you
are unable to provide the letter and documents, your application for an emergency visa may be
rejected.

Documents Required for Emergency e-Visa to India
Applying for emergency visa, make sure besides the proof of death/illness, you will need other necessary
documents.
• A scanned copy of your passport with at least six months validity and two blank pages will be
required.
• The recommended size is 4MB or less.
Latest colored photographed of you.
• A white background is ideal for clarity. You may even take a digital image using a high-quality
smartphone and upload it.
Note: Make sure you submit all the correct document containing accurate information. If any fraudulence
and wrong information find in the documents. In this case your application will be rejected.
How will you receive Emergency e-Visa to India?
You can receive Emergency e-Visa to India within 24 hours after applying.
• This emergency visa is also a visa on arrival. So, in this case your urgent visa will be stamped in
one of the airports that you use in India.
• The signboards will be clear and the direction to the particular immigration officer will be easy to
notice.
