Habitat for Humanity of Omaha built homes with donor contributions, volunteer labor and donated materials. Families who partner with Habitat Omaha are required to attend homeownership workshops and complete up to 350 hours of Sweat Equity by helping on the build site or at Omaha’s Habitat ReStore. All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people.
