Calgary Overhead Doors was established in 1953 by the Honeysett family, with Ron Honeysett operating the company until the 1980s, when it was purchased by Reid MacPhee. Reid eventually passed the mantle of leadership to his son, Dan. Dan MacPhee joined the team in 1987 and purchased the business in 1994, and just this year his brother, Dave MacPhee became half owner. This paint acts as a barrier to corrosion and contaminants, providing protection to the underlying zinc coating and extending the life of your garage door. Our doors are equipped with the highest possible grade of perimeter weatherstripping to provide excellent protection from the elements, while a continuous weather seal is inserted between each door section to prevent air from passing through. We use an arctic-grade, bulb-shaped floor seal that conforms to minor floor irregularities to keep air, dirt, dust and moisture out.
