Parkside Animal Health Center is Auroras best small animal practice. We are locally owned and operated but we still provide the same services as any larger or corporate practice. In fact, we are an AAHA accredited veterinary hospital. That means we reached out to the American Animal Hospital Association to voluntary take the over 900 point inspection that covers patient care, surgery, pharmacy practices, laboratory practices, examination facilities, pet health records, overall cleanliness, emergency services, dental care, nursing care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, and continuing education. Our AAHA accreditation puts Parkside Animal Health Center into the minority of small animal clinics with only 15% of US animal hospitals meeting the high standards set by AAHA. But it isn't just AAHA that thinks we're excellent- look us up on Yelp, Facebook or Google+ and see what our customers have to say about us.
Parkside is your Aurora animal hospital! We are here to provide everything you need to keep your pet happy and healthy. From basic wellness services and routine examination all the way to x-rays, advanced surgery or specific blood panels we can provide almost everything you need in-house. Our x-rays are taken on-site and our experienced clinic staff can process samples with our full service laboratory so we can get you answers as quickly, and as affordably, as possible. Additionally, our team of Aurora veterinary staff draw on many years of surgical and dental experience which allow them to provide the majority of procedures at our vet clinic.
At Parkside, we have aligned ourselves with a set of core values that we feel are critical to providing superior services. We believe our commitment to these values are what allow us to separate ourselves from other animal hospitals and clinics.
First, we value education and science as the core components to practicing great veterinary medicine. We are committed to continuing veterinary education and that means we stay up to date on new research and technologies. We invest in ourselves through continuing education, so that our approach is always modern and well-researched.
Second, we value compassion and empathy as key parts to providing pet care. We are all pet owners ourselves and we know what its like to have a sick pet. We know how hard it can be to see your furry friend feeling ill, but we also know how great it is to see them healthy again. This understanding can be seen in every conversation and every treatment we provide.
Third, we value honesty. As such, we will answer every question to the best of our knowledge. There is a lot of information out there when it comes to pet health and our clinic staff is here to provide you with an honest and simple answer to make sense of it all.
We look forward to meeting you and your pet! Give us a call today and let us show you what a true commitment to pets, and the people that care for them, looks like!
