Jason is a native Texan and grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. After graduating high school at Fort Bend Christian Academy, he attended Baylor University, where he was active in his fraternity Alpha Tau Omega, Student Government, and numerous other student organizations. In 2010, he graduated from Baylor magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He then attended law school in Dallas at SMU Dedman School of Law, where he served as the Associate Managing Editor of the SMU International Law Review.
